At different points in life, each of us faces challenges that can affect our sense of well-being and quality of life. Factors such as physical and mental health, meaningful relationships, fulfilling work, and a sense of safety and stability all contribute to how we experience life day to day. When any of these areas feel disrupted, seeking the support of a therapist can make a significant difference.
As a clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting adults, adolescents, parents, and families across public, community, and private settings, I am committed to helping clients navigate these difficult moments. Through therapeutic counselling and coaching, I work with individuals and families experiencing psychosocial stress to explore new perspectives and develop strategies for meaningful change.
As your therapist, my goal is to listen with empathy, understand your experiences, and walk alongside you on your path toward healing and personal growth. Together, we will work to strengthen your sense of well-being and help you achieve the quality of life you desire
“Nourishing yourself in a way that helps you blossom in the direction you want to go is attainable, and you are worth the effort.” — Deborah Day

Life can feel overwhelming at times - responsibilities pile up, emotions feel heavy, and it can be hard to know where to begin. Many people come to therapy unsure of whether it will help or feeling like they should already “have it together.” If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, breathe, and make sense of what you’re carrying.
With over 11 years of experience as a hospital social worker, I have supported clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma experiences, and psychotic disorders. My work has also included supporting immigrant women, young children, (pre-)teenagers, young adults, and adults/seniors through moments of distress and crisis. These experiences allow me to meet clients with empathy, curiosity, and flexibility, grounded in an understanding that everyone’s story is unique.
My therapeutic style is holistic, individualized, and integrative. I tune in to each client’s pace and tailor our work to their goals and lived experiences.
Above all, I aim to create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to move forward in their own way. The therapeutic relationship is central to my work, and I value the trust that develops as we explore challenges together.
